Artist For Action + Give A Note
Poster design, social media materials and web design for "Take Action x SXSW" - a music charity event during SXSW in Austin, TX with the goal of aiding gun violence prevention in America.
Long-time partners Artist For Action and Give A Note Foundation needed short-notice production to aid in the marketing of their official SXSW panels & showcase. At the core of the project was standing out in the very-well-crowded landscape of SXSW-ified Austin and even busier social media timelines. The client also wanted a "non-traditional" approach to charity event design; centering joy and celebration to combat this very serious topic.
Within a two-week span, we produced multi-format print materials, social media assets, ad materials, and individual speaker- and artist templates. We also built an online RSVP-page to collect both RSVP's and valuable visitor data.
Leading up to the event, we also produced internal marketing materials that aided in sponsor acqusition - bringing on partners such as Audix, Amuse, Gibson and American Songwriter, and generating substantial revenue for the cause.
Apart from a rock-solid event ID, the project resulted in 3500+ attendees, thousands of site visitors, and 160+ million online impressions.
